Addition to the Accessibility Statement

Accessibility

Different words that have to do with social media, like "share", "popular", "youtube" and "search".

EU Directive 2102 on Accessibility of Public Sector Bodies' Websites and Mobile Applications requires public sector bodies across the EU to make their websites and mobile applications accessible and to publish an accessibility statement. We have prepared the following text to complement this statement:

This website uses the software Eye-Able® from the company Web Inclusion GmbH to provide users with a barrier-reduced view of the visual content. Eye-Able® helps to adapt the website to the individual needs of visitors. The functionality of Eye-Able® includes:
- an adaptive font magnification,
- a free adjustment of color contrasts,
- a read aloud function with integrated keyboard navigation,
- a blue filter,
- a night mode,
- an instant view to connect several functions,
- a compensation of color weaknesses as well as
- further functions for an individual view of the website such as a larger mouse pointer, sans serif font as well as the hiding of images, animations and sound.

For operation, the associated menu can be opened by clicking on the Eye- Able® icon or with the keyboard shortcut "ALT + 1". All functions can also be controlled with the keyboard (instruction via "ALT + F1"). More information can be found at: www.eye-able.com

Eye-Able has been tested BITV/WCAG compliant. A summary of the test report can be viewed at the following link: Eye-Able Test Report

You can optionally include a link at this point, which would show Eye-Able again if it was unintentionally hidden. This link could look like this:

Click here to show Eye-Able again after it has been hidden.

Use the following code for the link text (more precisely the href attribute): javascript:localStorage.removeItem('eyeAbleHideIcon'); window.location.reload();

 This automatically redisplays Eye-Able after it has been hidden by removing the corresponding Local Storage entry.
